We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance & BSA Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our organization complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, as well as implementing and maintaining our Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) program.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining the company's compliance and BSA programs.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory developments and industry trends to ensure the company remains compliant.
- Review and work cases in the BSA/AML Software.
- Assist with conducting timely investigations into fraudulent activity.
- With guidance from the Compliance Officer, assist in the internal monitoring and testing of compliance with various regulations and rules as assigned. Responsible for updating various compliance logs, risk assessments and reviews.
- Provide guidance and support to other departments on compliance and BSA-related matters.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance and BSA requirements.
- Provide support and assistance to the Compliance Officer during an examination/audit from the federal regulators and internal/external auditors.
- Assist the Compliance Officer in collaborating with management to develop and implement corrective actions in response to identified compliance issues.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality of customer information including but not limited to information pertaining to BSA and transaction information.
- Other related duties and special projects as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, BSA, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Compensation details: 20-30 Hourly Wage
