Northwest Kidney Centers seeks a Major Gifts Officer to join the Development Team in a hybrid, full-time, day shift position.
Responsibilities
The Major Gifts Officer is a highly skilled, experienced, and results-oriented fundraising professional who can plan individual giving strategies and manage a portfolio of current and prospective donors. They will serve as a strategic thought partner to the VP of Development on campaign planning and the cultivation and stewardship of individual donors. The successful candidate will understand the complexities of philanthropy and be excited to build and grow an individual gifts program. The successful candidate is an excellent relationship steward with a proven record of producing measurable results. They bring experience in the healthcare field and will build on the organization's success of event-based fundraising by taking the major donor program to the next level.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications, public relations, political science, journalism, or business administration. Five years of related work experience involving directing successful major gift campaigns for healthcare, education, or other nonprofit causes.
Current driver's license valid in the state of Washington, insurance, and vehicle for local travel.
