!!!! US Citizen and ability to pass a public trust investigation !!! We are seeking a skilled IT QA Specialist to join our Quality Assurance team. This role requires extensive experience in software testing, including unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and automated testing across various technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of programming languages, database management, and test automation tools to ensure the delivery of flawless software solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute detailed test cases for C, C#, .Net, Java, and Angular-based applications to ensure compliance with all technical specifications.
- Conduct database testing using MS SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL, including writing and executing PL/SQL and SQL data scripts.
- Perform comprehensive unit testing using frameworks such as Junit, nUnit, Jest, Jasmine, and Karma.
- Utilize 508 Testing Tools, including ANDI and Deque Axe, to ensure software accessibility compliance.
- Conduct load and performance testing using tools like JMeter and LoadRunner to simulate user load and identify bottlenecks.
- Implement functional testing using Selenium and develop automated test scripts with Test Café.
- Work with AWS technology to test applications hosted in cloud environments.
- Use Insomnia and other RESTful testing tools to validate API integrations and services.
- Document all test results accurately and handle documentation of software defects and monitor the bug resolution process.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to enhance the quality of the final product through continuous testing and feedback.
Required Skills :
- US Citizen and ability to pass a public trust investigation
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C#, Java, Angular, HTML5, CSS, and SCSS.
- Strong experience with database testing and scripting in MS SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
- Extensive knowledge of unit testing and UAT best practices, with hands-on experience in Junit, nUnit, Jest, Jasmine, and Karma.
- Experience in conducting accessibility testing using 508 compliance tools like ANDI and Deque Axe.
- Proficient in performance testing using JMeter and LoadRunner.
- Experienced in automated functional testing with Selenium and Test Café.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and their application in testing environments.
- Skilled in using Insomnia or similar tools for RESTful API testing.
- Experienced in Agile/Scrum and Kanban methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
